"Came to Nihao for dinner on a weeknight. It's just a great place for nice, honest Chinese food. Not pretentious, but still very comfortable and the staff there are absolutely amazing. Food wise, they were pretty on point with every dish. The steamed fish and salted egg chicken ribs were standouts. Definitely worth a visit

"The place was filled with patrons on a Tuesday night. We saw a lot of tables having lobsters and steamed fish and they all looked delicious. This is a place more suitable for group dining as the portions were huge and the dishes were best shared. As for me and my friend, we order Fu Cho fried rice and spicy green beans with crispy anchovies, both had fresh, good quality ingredients and flavours were top notch! The services were excellent! The only disappointment was the surcharge of using credit cards. The environment was clean and pleasant. Would definitely be back again and try new dishes!

"The new Owner / Manager Host really made the night for our family celebration. We have been regular intermittent patrons of this restaurant for several years but after last night had to write a review to praise both the exceptional food and the amazing quality of service by the staff and owner. Eight different entrees and main courses - ALL superb. Some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten at a quality restaurant. Fast service without hovering, quiet, polite and friendly and readily on hand. The extra care and attention for our nephew on his 18th birthday by the owner really elevated the meal and experience well beyond anything we had come to expect. Entertaining, friendly without being intrusive - absolutely first class. We won't take so long to come back again this time :) AND we were very pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill at the end of the superb meal including very reasonable bill for the celebratory drinks !! The renovated layout is clean, minimalist yet still holds Chinese restaurant influences you want to feel when dining out. This is a MUST dining experience if you are after quality and service. "Good quality Cantonese style restaurant in Kew. Service is fast. Restaurant is busy and popular with the locals. The live fish was good. And the bitter gourd with beef is excellent. Staff are friendly.
